Description

An entry-level certification built specifically around shallow water scuba systems rather than conventional dive equipment. It gives you the knowledge and skills to safely plan and conduct dives in conditions similar to those in your training, within shallow depth limits and without direct instructor supervision once certified. You’ll learn how your shallow water system works, how to care for it, and how to handle common situations so you can enjoy relaxed, confidence-building dives. Keep in mind this course is specific to shallow water systems and is a great fit for warm, clear, shallow environments; if you plan to use conventional scuba gear or dive deeper, the Open Water Scuba Diver course is the better path.

This entry-level certification course is designed to give students the necessary skills to safely conduct open water dives in conditions similar to their training using the shallow water scuba system without the direct supervision of an instructor. This course is specific to a shallow water scuba system, and is not intended to train participants in the use of conventional scuba diving equipment. Therefore, use of conventional scuba diving equipment, by participants, during this program is strictly prohibited.

Dives included: 2 open water dives (max depth 9 m / 30 ft).
