Military & First Responder Discount

If you serve or have served — in uniform, on patrol, on the truck, or on the ambulance — thank you. SCUBA Host offers 10% off all scuba training courses to:

• Active-duty members of the U.S. Armed Forces, including National Guard and Reserve
• Veterans and military retirees
• First responders — sworn law enforcement officers, career and volunteer firefighters, and licensed EMS professionals

How it works:

1. Book your course on this site and enter code HEROES10 at checkout. Your 10% discount is applied immediately — no paperwork, no waiting for approval.
2. Bring your ID to your first session. Any of the accepted credentials below takes ten seconds to show. We look; we don’t photocopy, scan, or keep anything.
3. That’s it. Go get certified.

Accepted ID — military & veterans: Florida driver license or state ID with the Veteran designation; VA digital Veteran ID Card (VIC); Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC); DoD Common Access Card or Uniformed Services ID card; DD-214 (feel free to redact your SSN — we don’t need it); VA benefit summary letter.

Accepted ID — first responders: agency-issued photo ID or credentials; badge together with photo ID; state EMS license or certification together with photo ID; agency retiree credentials.

Rather verify ahead of time? Email a photo of your credential to info@scubahost.com and we’ll confirm before your session — we delete verification emails after review.

Military & First Responder Discount Program Terms

These terms govern the SCUBA Host Military & First Responder Discount Program (the “Program”). By applying Program code HEROES10 (or any successor code) at checkout, you represent that you meet the eligibility requirements below and agree to these terms. Questions? Eligibility

The Program is open to:

• Active-duty military: current members of the U.S. Armed Forces (Army, Marine Corps, Navy, Air Force, Space Force, Coast Guard), including members of the National Guard and Reserve;
• Veterans and retirees: former members of the U.S. Armed Forces who received an honorable or general (under honorable conditions) discharge, and military retirees;
• First responders: currently serving sworn law enforcement officers, career or volunteer firefighters, and state-licensed or state-certified emergency medical services professionals (EMTs and paramedics), as well as retirees of those services holding agency-issued retiree credentials.

The discount is personal to the eligible individual and applies only to that individual’s own course enrollment. It is not transferable and may not be used to purchase training for family members or others, except that an eligible individual may apply it to their own seat within a group booking. Spouses and dependents are not eligible under this Program.

The discount

The Program provides 10% off the listed price of SCUBA Host training courses booked through our website using the Program code. The discount does not apply to: equipment, rentals, or air fills; gift cards; boat, charter, park admission, or other third-party fees collected by or passed through to a third party; rebooking or other administrative fees; or items already on sale. The discount cannot be combined with any other coupon, promotion, or discounted offer, has no cash value, and cannot be applied retroactively to a completed purchase. One Program code per booking.

Verification — at or before your first session

We apply the discount at checkout based on your representation of eligibility, and we verify in person. You must present one of the accepted credentials below at or before the start of your first training session (classroom, pool, or open water — whichever comes first). Verification is by visual inspection only: we do not photocopy, scan, photograph, or retain your documents. If you prefer to verify in advance, you may email a photograph of your credential to info@scubahost.com; we delete verification emails and attachments after review.

Accepted credentials — military, veterans, and retirees (any one):

• Florida driver license or identification card bearing the Veteran designation
• VA Veteran ID Card (digital VIC)
• Veteran Health Identification Card (VHIC)
• DoD Common Access Card (CAC) or Uniformed Services identification card
• DD Form 214 showing qualifying discharge (you may redact your Social Security number and we encourage you to do so)
• VA benefit summary letter

Accepted credentials — first responders (any one):

• Agency-issued photo identification or credentials
• Badge presented together with government-issued photo ID
• Current state EMS license or certification presented together with government-issued photo ID
• Agency-issued retiree credentials

If a credential leaves reasonable doubt (for example, a name mismatch), we may ask for one additional supporting document. Our determination of eligibility is final.

If eligibility is not verified

If you do not present an accepted credential at or before your first session, or your credential does not establish eligibility, the discount is reversed and the difference between the discounted price and the standard listed price becomes due immediately. We may withhold the start or continuation of training until the difference is paid. If you choose not to pay the difference, your booking will be treated as a cancellation by you, effective that date, under our Refund & Returns Policy. A booking made through a knowing misrepresentation of eligibility may be cancelled by us, with any refund likewise determined under the Refund & Returns Policy as of the date of cancellation.

General

This Program is offered by SCUBA Host and is not sponsored by, affiliated with, or endorsed by the U.S. Department of Defense, the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, or any law enforcement, fire, or EMS agency. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Program at any time; the discount rate in effect when you complete a booking will be honored for that booking. Except as stated here, bookings made under the Program remain subject to our Refund & Returns Policy and all other posted terms. Any refund of a discounted booking is calculated on the discounted amount actually paid.
