Description

The SDI Accomplished Diver Program is a crossover pathway for divers who already have experience but do not hold a current SDI recreational certification. It is designed for divers certified through another recognized agency, current or former military divers, and experienced open-circuit divers who have spent many years in the water without a recreational card. Through an academic review and a single evaluation dive, it recognizes the knowledge and skills you already have and brings you into the SDI system with a full SDI Open Water Scuba Diver certification, opening the door to continuing education such as specialties, the Advanced Diver program, and beyond.

Dives included: 1 open water evaluation dive (required; maximum depth 18 m / 60 ft).

Prerequisites

  • Proof of a Junior Open Water or Open Water Scuba Diver certification from a recognized agency, OR
  • Documentation of a current or former military diver rating, OR

  • Complete a medical statement where relevant

What You Will Learn

  • Academic review of core open water knowledge, including the use of a personal dive computer
