Inactive Diver / Refresher Diver
$200.00
Description
Designed to update and review the knowledge and skills of divers who have been out of the water for a while, so you can get back to diving safely and with confidence. Whether it’s been a few months or a few years, this program refreshes the essentials at a comfortable pace. It includes a knowledge review to sharpen your understanding of dive theory and procedures, plus at least one in-water training dive to rebuild your comfort, buoyancy and core skills under the guidance of a professional. It’s the perfect way to shake off the rust before a big trip, and it can serve as a springboard back into regular diving or straight into continuing education.
The SDI Inactive Diver/Refresher Program is designed to update and review the knowledge and skill level of an inactive diver. SDI encourages the use of this program for instructors, assistant instructors, and resorts or dive facilities that have questions regarding the diving history of an individual. This program can also be used as a catalyst for continuing education programs.
Dives included: 1 dive (confined or open water, or both); a second dive is optional.
